Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. I need someone to convince me right now that I can't just harvest Metal Gear Survive to make a game.

Like sure, it is a dumb as hell plot, but it is essentially just straight up a journal rp jamjar game plot on it's own with no modifications.

I feel like we're always complaining about sci-fi/horror games so adding another feels questionable among all the closures.

On the other hand it makes more sense to jamjar than trying to make an excuse to set a game on an oil rig in the middle of the ocean.

People are always whining about the existence of any genre they don't like. It doesn't mean another game in that genre is a bad idea, just that people are more inclined to bitch about things they aren't into existing than find things they are into.
