Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. speaking as one of the ex-mods from above: of course it all bothers me. it pisses me off all the effort and time i put into my game just for a few assholes to not only ruin the whole experience but make me feel like nothing i did as a mod was ever good enough. no matter how fair i tried to be, how impartial, or think of different ways to roll out plot that would be interesting and engaging. "none of it was ever good enough" is exactly the opposite of what i should be feeling for running a game for fun.

and speaking as an rper that still enjoys rping, it bothers me how i don't even want to bother being in public games anymore because of how hostile and entitled certain players can be.

none of it will ever change as long as players like that continue to get into games and then treat mods like shit. or even treat mods like shit when they aren't even in those games with them. until we challenge that attitude and entitlement, it's just going to keep happening.

so good luck, current game mods. you're going to need it.
