Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. anons, what sites/apps do you use to watch shows with english subtitles?

non-jp/kr shows are especially appreciated, i wouldn't mind watching shows in spanish or from some euro country with subs.

show recs are also good. thank you, previous nonny who shared viki for asian dramas!

Netflix actually has a lot of international shows. Go to the TV Shows tab, then choose International in the genre dropdown.

I personally really enjoyed Gran Hotel (Eng: Grand Hotel), Vis a Vis (Eng: Locked Up), and Alta Mar (Eng: High Seas), all of which are from Spain. But they have shows from all over the world, all in their original languages. Some have English dubs as well.

I was on a Nordic Noir kick for awhile and Wallander and Bron/Broen should still be available on Hulu. They both have English-language remakes but I don't think either of them were as good as the original. There are a couple of them on Netflix as well, but for Netflix recommendations I prefer their international sci-fi like Dark (DE) and The Rain (DK).
