looks like the player who bailed her out for AC last month is going to do the same this month. wonder if ophelia will get called out for submitting ac with the same person twice in a row, or if the mod will let it fly like they've let all her other crap fly.

you can't provide ac with the same player over and over again. if this is a pattern the mod should call her out during ac or my guess is favoritism.

technically, per the new guidelines, you only get called out after three times (unless it's a pattern the mod noticed prior to instating this, because i know some people got warnings before)

but since these aren't rules then it's just a slap on the wrist anyway and doesn't matter

hiatusing, strikes, and threading with the same couple of people has definitely been a pattern with her though. i guess we'll see what happens during AC.

considering she's barely active and has been that way for so long, i'm afraid this really is starting to look like a show of mod favoritism.

it sucks because i thought the mod was pretty good with everything else.

have any of you chucklefucks thought to bring it to the mod? even so much as to point out 'hey, this looks a lot like favoritism when anyone else would get kicked out or talked to by now'. maybe the mod isn't aware of your hurt feelings. if they're doing good in everything else, why not give them a chance to actually respond to this instead of blaming it on favoritism when it might not be.

Honestly this whole thread reads like a tinfoil hat wearing sameanon who really wants to play Natasha. I notice the multiple other MCU squatters haven't been brought up.

don't get me wrong, anon. i'm on the side of thinking ophelia's a squatter. she's done it in multiple games and i was the one suggesting she needed to stick to psls or memes instead of a game with a cast cap when she's not active in it. this is her mo. it won't change. she needs to politely step aside.

but as i myself have had positive experiences with the mod, i have to wonder if anyone's brought it to their attention or that the resulting letting it slide actions are coming off as favoritism. i see 'looks like favoritism', but it might not be. it might just be someone thinking they're doing a good thing and being taken advantage of.

Ophelia's activity aside, I'm mostly rolling my eyes because this thread is totally ignoring the fact the mod has given exceptions like this to multiple players in the past, including the PST time zone exception. Personally I think that sorta rules out the whole favoritism thing, but I'm also not personally invested in a spot in the MCU cast so ymmv I guess.

then that's evidence to suggest it's not favoritism which is always helpful to bring up so everyone's getting all the deets!

it's still kind of weird, it doesn't take much to figure out the cut off in your own time zone and it doesn't seem fair to players that can't use that excuse.

agreed. if a game runs on a specific timezone, then that's the timezone it runs on. you don't get a freebie because you can't pay attention to shit. you have a whole month to get ac. if you have to squeak it out so that some of it eeks into the new month by the game's timezone, you're not playing the game right. it wouldn't count for reserves or apps, so why does it count for ac?

I mean, okay. But regardless of my tone and whether or not it hurts your feelings, if the mod has done the same thing a bunch of times it's not favoritism for her to do it again.

though i think the real issue here is not that the mod made an exception for a player, but that the mod made an exception for a player who has a clear and long-running pattern of poor activity and cliquey behavior.

i don't even care about the cliquey behavior as much as i care about the shitty pattern of strikes and hiatusing

tbh the entire game took a strike in feb. it's like no one knew they'd be two days short when ac rolled around.

i included the check-in for march, sorry i didn't make that clearer. each month is the ac for that specific month (so april's ac that was posted at the beginning of may, not march's that was posted at the beginning of april, hence why i don't have may 2018 on there)

looks like they changed tactics and found someone else to tag her instead

all that proves is that she's watching this thread.
