So... hi! I play Rapunzel and I've got a few ship itches that I really hope to finally get to scratch. The big one is Rapunzel/Thorin, from The Hobbit. I'm fine with completely AU'ing Rapunzel into the Tolkien-verse, mashing the two together somehow, or figuring out something else in between. This is an idea that's been sitting with me for a couple of years but never actually managed to get going. I'd really like to rectify this and give them a shot. I think it'd be pretty sweet!

While I'm here I'll also say that I'd be down for characters from other high-fantasy (or historical-dramas, that sort of thing) or the clear other side of the spectrum (sci-fi, such as Voltron, or Star Trek, or Star Wars). approximately a million years ago, when dinosaurs ruled the earth, i tagged a fenris from da2 on a meme. or that player tagged me, idek. ANYWAY, despite knowing nothing about da, i really dug the idea. both characters - from my understanding, at least - come from backgrounds of terrible captivity, suffering at the hands of humans. that's where their stories diverge drastically. interplay between characters that are two sides of the same coin where one's gentle and the other...less so is my absolute favorite thing. common ground yet uncommon reactions?

i'm cool with canonmeld, AUs of any sort, and jamjar setting. for the vibe: lowkey/slowburn, sorta-fluffy, unspoken attachment, character development and delving deep into headspaces, angsty shit, happy endings, anything really. game for all, including smut.

completely self-indulgent shit that i've wanted ever since doctor strange came out a couple years back, what with stephen's dimension-jumping matching the fact that scott could enter the quantum realm and get out of it.

i just want them being able to understand the concept of multiple dimensions and at first bonding over learning how to traverse them, and then just. genuinely bonding and getting along, with scott's general bright (if not self-deprecating) personality balancing out how fucking solemn stephen is all the time.

memes & psls would be equally sweet! i can play either stephen or scott, so don't even worry. i've also got a couple ideas for post-infinity war stuff, but that's definitely not required!

Hey hello, I play Squalo here and I'm looking for a Xanxus that would help me quench my unending thirst for this ship. I'm excitedly down for simple memes and/or psls, but if anyone was interested in playing a longer-term series of threads or even putting them both in a game it would be a dream come true.

I'm open to pretty much any scenario, setting and/or kink for these two, I also have an infamous List Of Prompts that can be whipped out if we run short on ideas. The one thing is that I would prefer not to de-claw them, so to speak - they're both fucked up psychos, even if it might manifest milder in particular AUs. I will respect any set limits, this is just to clarify that I'm not really looking for fluff en masse here (but some is okay).

Additionally, I would be interested in playing off a Dino - this would no doubt be a much gentler matchup, if only through the sheer quality of Dino being (relatively) less of a violent asshole. Okay, I know it's an anon running joke that people's dwarf thirst is embarrassingly real, yet here I am, contributing to it. IDK I just wanna live. Besides, I have an excuse: it's Snow White! Where'd she be without dwarves? In Sleeping Beauty territory, that's where.

All kidding aside, what I'm looking for is Snow White (from SWATH, one of those ~gritty reimaginings that were so hot a few years ago)/Thorin from The Hobbit. Through nobody's fault, I had a nibble on this pairing not pan out; hopefully, we'll be able to play it out when things clear up. But I figure that the more chances/verses/players to thread with, the better!

I'll just dump the tl;dr from that planning jam here to give y'all an idea of what I'm looking for:

"One of my favorite aspects of Snow (at least this version) is that, despite being the princess archetype, she's very stilted and isolated despite all the GOOD! PURITY! LIGHT!! canon says resides in her. I guess "stunted emotionally" or "cool" is the best term for it? Thanks for locking her up in a tower during her formative years, Worst Stepmom of the Year. Still, she's a good person. tl;dr I like princesses that have problems, are awkward, and basically just have to deal with shit.

Additionally, this makes her a less judgemental character overall and greatens the impact when she actually Wakes Up (literally and figuratively).

I HAVE A LOT OF IDEAS, lemme just

- Snow coming across Thorin's dwarves instead of the Hunstman and tries to pay them for protection...even though she has nothing to her name. Maybe she makes a promise, gets into debt or something or appeals to the dwarves' nobler nature, and from there FEELINGS as everybody's tossed into the fire?
- Alternatively, the Wicked Queen wants to hire the dwarves to snuff out Snow under the guise of another job and they refuse to do it. See first bullet from there.
- Post SWATH, Snow's the queen and it's all good in the neighborhood. The dwarves, who she knows through her adventures, have been restored to their rightful positions thanks to her leadership; trade relations blossom under the rules of the Queen and the King Under the Mountain. Perhaps /too/ close of other sorts of relations, as well.
- Some AU where instead of deciding to straight up kill Snow, the Queen decides to get her out of her hair by sending her off into a loveless, arranged marriage. Snow's like "nah, I'm good" and runs away, falls in with the dwarves, et al. Queen and possible other kingdom come to claim her. Turns out, she's decided she likes the dwarves - and Thorin - a lot more than she likes anybody else. Battles, possible angst, and triumph ensue.

Back a thousand years ago, when Free! was pretty much everywhere in DWRP, I dipped my feet into some shipping nonsense between the Free! guys and the SM gals. I'd like to try that again. Today I was suddenly reminded of how much I love this ship. Love it. I play Glinda, and I'm hoping there's someone out there who plays Elphaba. Bookverse, musicalverse, I really don't care because I love them both. Whether it's before they go to the Emerald City, or after everything's gone to hell and Elphie's suddenly a Big Bad, or somewhere in between if we totally ignore canon, all of those are good. My favorite thing about these two is how perfectly they fit together and how incredibly awkward they manage to make it despite that.
