Spirit beasts probably unless they make a new 'horse' family of tameables.

But yes, my nelf and nightborne will have new friends. White and green for the nelf, white and blue for the nightborne. My undead can have the black and red one for maximum edgelord points.

they tried so hard to build anduin up as a character the alliance could FINALLY root for, and in the end that too fell flat on its face. both sides suck equal amounts of balls now and while i was initially excited for BfA, i don't know if i can stomach the awful story and shitty characters anymore.

i'm going to be forever salty if that's true, since the i played the undead on the horde because i thought she was cool and the plight of the forsaken was interesting to me, as 'here is this group of people that most people view as evil but they were raised against their will and are now just making a second life for themselves' was something that i felt like could be interesting.

but ever since arthas was killed, it seems like the writers had no idea how to what to do with sylvanas and now she's garrosh 2.0

she's either dead or blizzard will perform the greatest asspull of all time to redeem her from out of nowhere. they're been really adamant about "no, the horde isn't evil, Sylvanas is just pragmatic, seriously," but her actions in the book and ingame are...... less than good. i'd say the writing has really gone downhill but honestly, it's always been this bad.

My guess is she'll be killed off and Lilian Voss will become the new racial leader. I've always felt they intended to go that way eventually ever since that character popped up.

Well, they made Arthas' death her one reason for existing. They could have her focus on bettering the un-lives of her people, but that wouldn't have been as ~dramatic~ as her trying to kill herself, learning that only damnation awaits her and deciding she wants to avoid that fate at all costs.

Also Blizz' writers have shown time and time again that writing a woman without making her go crazy, evil, or become a complete bitch is beyond them.

I'm looking for someone who plays both WoW and FFXIV; I'd like to trade gold for tokens (or whatever else you want it for..), for FFXIV timecard. I have, or can get, gold easily but not so much time for FFXIV, which I'd like to play a little in the lull of the end of the expansion.

Token exchange would be best for me, unless you are interested in a shop pet/mount gift combo, as token would be me handing you or your level 1 alt a pile of gold for you to buy a token with, then I get the FFXIV time in trade from you. ..or the bnet pet/mount gifting, for similar things.

so we'll have even fewer tanks. most of them just want to be a glorified dps with an insta-queue and won't be interested in learning how to actually tank.

chances are blizz will revert these changes after the infants wail loudly enough for long enough.

not sure if anyone else has asked this recently, but i just got back into the game after about 4 years away-- do any of you guys play on wyrmrest/moon guard (either faction, i play on both sides) and know of any social chat channels/guilds/etc to join? the official forums don't seem to be used much for this anymore. :(

mostly i just want to find new friends and have some people to chat with while i play, the game is pretty quiet solo right now and i'm hesitant to just join random guilds. those are the servers i have active characters on and at least one level 90, but i'm open to rolling elsewhere and checking other servers out if you have a good recommendation to give!

I play on both servers (horde primarily on WrA and alliance on MG) and while I don't have many recommendations, avoid shadow syndicate or whatever it's called on MG. Huge spammy guild for the most part, they're not wildly popular.

There's a wrymrest accord rp discord and probably an MG one, though I don't know for sure. I'm a lurker there but it is a fairly social server. Not exactly in game but it might help?

I'm always looking for friends/people to chat with, hit up ~socketeering if you want to exchange btags or whatnot.
