wow I didn't even notice that. sorry original anon! this is what I get for trying to be helpful at dumb o'clock.

I did this a few times during my time RPing, whenever some of the more negative aspects of dwrp got to me too much and I knew I needed to touch grass but wanted to still have a little fun RPing. I also ran little shared musebox games that were just for me and my friends. It's definitely worth doing if you need a break from the commitment and/or drama of games. One of the times I did it for little bit was after a really harsh conflict with people that were later outed as bigtime wankers and it really helped me relax again and cool off. They'd messed with my head pretty bad so surrounding myself with sane people helped a lot with decompressing from all their manipulation. When I went back to actual games again, I was on a much more even keel thanks to having a break.

The big things to consider is you have better luck finding people and getting something going if you're the one to do setups. Like it's a lot easier to find people if you're willing to get the initial idea rolling. I tended to set up the sandbox stuff or psls and just directly asked that who I was playing with occasionally handle the npcs or progressing things along. It's also important to remember that since it's psl stuff, sometimes things will drop off or you'll get flaked on or ghosted. So it's best to have a mentality of just enjoying each little bit of it as it is. If all you got out of a thread was a few tags but they were fun for a little while, that was still time you had some fun even if it didn't last. There were some psls I did that lasted a long time and they were great but even the little short ones that stopped were fun while they lasted.

I play in games again but I definitely don't regret the times I went game-free.

I've only seen her as Ruby in Steven Universe, but I liked her in that.

Yeah and for ML at least you have some options because they're a little more trusting. Hawkmoth is a pretty bad guy but their universe isn't like comics where superhero girlfriends have been cut up and stuffed in fridges. They don't have as much that would have them jaded and super distrusting.

So if anything, it means you'll probably have more options that would still be IC since they won't be lodged as heavily in the no-trust zone a lot of comic superheroes are at.

Yep. I honestly haven't seen her in any live action stuff, so I can't make any judgements on her physical presence in acting, but I at least found her voice acting to be good.

when they have the devil and his brother looking like walking sex advertisements and even the demon looking hot af, casting the sole female angel we get to see as someone that just can't hit the same plateau as the rest of the cast let alone the rest of the angelic cast, it's pretty uncool. i've been waiting for az to be shown in the series since she was mentioned, and i was expecting this fierce, gorgeous angel that fit in with the rest of the angels. not this:

There's a lot to unpack about your statement and the misogyny in it, but I'm guessing you know that, so I'll point out that Uriel was incredibly plain, too.

i don't give a rat's ass. i wanted a sexy angel of death. i don't want some nerdy dork shitting up a character i've been waiting for. if everyone in the show can be sexy, even the therapist and the forensic pathologist, then the sole female angel we get to see should fit in as well. uriel's subjective. lots of people find his actor attractive. i'd take him over castiel. go look up her house character. she's frumpy and boring. every female on this show is stunning except for the sole angel? please. fuck off with this being about misogyny. i can dislike a female casting choice for aesthetics without it being about woman hating boo boo.

her other character i think technically got swept at last month's AC but the mod let her re-app him in that same round. i'm not so sure she will ever fucking leave.
