Fairly straightforward concept: girl gets found by someone, flirts a little, and then ends up raped by said person. Open to any kinks for this, from making vanilla, missionary position style sex degrading to more extreme things (just no bloodplay, vore, or extreme objectification).

Prefer to play the victim here. I have a drawn PB I'd probably use for this, but I have no medium preference. Would love shapeshifter-type or to play with a size kink. Hit me up at ~witchspace if interested.

i miss playing lil' ruby here, so i'd love to have someone to play off of her! i'm up for ships or gen, but i have a particular weakness for shipping her with hanamaru, yoshiko, you and chika. other idols for cross-canon fun would be cool, too!

i think it's somewhere in between i guess. on the surface i definitely see it as "it's character x in a mask" type, but there are definitely differences between the hero and civilian personalities in that the characters carry themselves a little differently as heroes. i'm just not sure it would be wildly different CR in the same way bruce wayne and batman would be.

i hadn't considered the impact of game setting, though, mainly because i hadn't actually decided on where i'm sending them, but i had jamjar in mind simply because it's pretty much all i have experience in.

speaking from a similar experience where me and another person had a ship planned out, wanted to slow burn it and they said their character would totally pick mine even if they slept with a bunch of other people (because afraid of commitment, etc) and then ended up dropping the ship with me but keeping one of the "flings"? don't get any further invested in the ship and go touch grass. cultivate cr elsewhere and don't count on them to follow through.

don't hassle them about it, don't guilt them about it. just move on to better things with other characters. if they still end up wanting to do the ship? great. but i wouldn't count on it if this is the way it's going to be played out. just my two cents from being in a similar situation.

a thing i want to add is that it depends A LOT on the type on game and plots you join. will vigilante x be around a lot, making open logs and generally saving the city every day? that will make it more difficult and add the handling double cr thing. but for example, in my game right now we have someone that transforms only every now and then for special plots, so the rest of the game has her as OH THAT MYSTERIOUS PRESENCE except for a few people that are close cr.

also, does your character have a reason to keep their secret identity, well, secret? this also depends on the character and game. i play someone that hides their powers in canon but in every jamar i've played him so far, as soon as he arrives, he realizes powers are cool in the setting so he doesn't hide for more than a week.

yeah! it might be easier to figure it out once i narrow down my game choice(s).

fwiw the characters i am voice testing are from a formulaic canon, so they pretty much do transform and save the city--well, not everyday, but often. it's pretty much an only-when-there's-danger thing, though, so i could probably also do it only for plots, depending. like you said, it all comes down to the type of game.

something slice of life with a little bit of plot to keep things interesting might be best, as opposed to something super plot heavy? i'm not sure yet.

also as for keeping secrets--it's purely professional to make heroing easier. in one character's case, he's also respecting his fellow hero's wishes to keep their identities secret, so it'd be easier to out him without her there. (might also make for an interesting reveal if they app in after.)

yeah, the mechanic just sounds like a lot of fun, especially when you think about what kinds of reactions you can get from certain characters. but like you said, it requires a lot of trust that i guess dwrp isn't (and might never be) ready for.

i just dig the idea of people's involvement be more... integrated into the game beyond the normal ooc plotting. the whole meta aspect of the series was just really interesting to me, and i wanted to see how that would unfold in a game, but alas.

i've done this!

CONS:

a. you need to find good, consistent people to rp with and that takes time, especially if you want to rp an obscure ship, you're gonna have to try a lot harder to find partners for that

b. community rps seem really realllyyyy boring after compared to the amount of stuff you can do/get away with in psls.

PROS:

a. if you have the right psl partners, being able to start and work and finish storylines together is so fun

b. no pressure with threads provided you've all established tagging patterns and communicate well with each other

c. it's super fun tbh. i've been spoiled by my rp partners.
