op, you didn't say that you were "literally about to drop over it", so idk if you'd feel more comfortable just letting the cr wither. but the other player doesn't sound like they're going to change unless you talk to them.

if you do bring it up, keep the conversation on the repercussions to your playing. not "i'm not comfortable with the way you're presenting your character as a persecuted angel" but "hey, the way you plurk our threads is getting my character a lot of negative attention. i'm okay with some fallout, but i didn't sign up for this amount." make sure they know that you're trying to salvage your playing experience and not to change their portrayal.

this is kind of a weird one: i really want to play oberyn/sansa in some sort of "oberyn lives" au or a variety of other aus! i play sansa!

no one said they didn't. but it's a hell of a lot harder to ignore a clique when they take over a single group chat than it is in a game where you can go off and play by yourself. just like in plurk, if you see one group rubbing their asses all over a mod/game plurk with in clique chatter and someone asking a legitimate question gets passed over because lmao lolz cats farts haha w/e, it makes you not want to bother looking in mod/game plurks. if your game chat has a vocal group and you want to ask a question or talk to another party in there about something and your conversation gets lost in four+ people talking over you about private stuff, there's no point to being involved.

some people like them, some don't. but if you don't like them, being told to go to skype or discord to plot in a game on dw is not a valid option.

What annoyed me a lot about the poll, too, was that there was no option to not have a cap, either. The game fully proved they didn't feel a cap was necessary, and the mods themselves said there were zero complaints about child characters in the game.

They just refused to budge on a cap that was being implemented solely because they'd seen probably a total of three complaints outside of the game on anon comms. After the game's members made very clear they didn't find it necessary and tried to work with them on a solution that didn't involve having to do it.

They were so tone deaf to the things their players were telling them that it hurt. I think I'm going to be shocked by the stupidity of these mods for the rest of my time rping, honestly.

M/M vampire things! A young-looking vampire (12-15ish) hunts by making himself seem like an easy target for thieves, pimps, johns, and assorted other sleazy sorts and attacking the ones that try to take advantage of him. I've got two setups in mind.

First, the guy that tries to attack him does a pretty terrible job at it, so the vampire takes pity and agrees to spare him if he agrees to serve him in repayment.

Second, the human is actually also the victim of the sleazy person and the vampire decides to take him in, no strings attached.

I'd like to play the vampire and I'd prefer something that doesn't lead directly into smut, but I'm otherwise open to discussing the setting, kinks, tone, direction, and so forth! The human can be any age. Leave a sock if you're interested!

Or on the other side, people who don't know how to respond to your nonhuman character other than to remark on them being nonhuman. I was playing an alien once and went through so many threads that were literally just "what are you" and my character having to explain their species all over again. It gets boring really fast.

it was also that they said underage characters would be locked out of "large portions" of the game, which made some people who apped in understandably upset because they joined to do those things with the game's plot and setting and were now being told they couldn't, even though they had never been told that before.

I live outside North America - on the exact opposite side of the clock - and I do my tags just fine. I couldn't do a murdergame because those require being around at very specific times, but I'm fine in all other aspects. Keep up.

I just really want something more than a whambam thank you (person my char just banged). Yes, smuts great if you're into that kind of thing but I'm a person who has had a lot of sex and it has never all been 100% perfect or even the best. There are dick slips, laughing at impromptu times, accidental nail jabs in sensitive spots, premature ejaculation, gag reflexes being a THING, and falling out of the mood before things even get going.
