i plus one this as well, but there's also that 'well, maybe the girls being tossed in aren't the ones the other players want', which all comes down to preferences. i prefer playing m/f as the m, but i'm also kind of particular about my fs, so i'm not going to tag every f with the possibility of a ship, which i all people really look for in shipping/smut games. mainly, anyway. i can happily have gen cr with a variety of female chars, but i in particular am very picky about who i smut with. that goes for the few times i m/m as well. i'm not open to all dick and picky with vag. but i like more options for fs and i'd be happier with there being ones i want to tag up. not having those means that it's likely that people aren't as excited to tag those fs.

so it's just bad preferences matching on both ends. the ms want more fs, they just don't want those fs.

the old adage 'beggars can't be choosers' comes to mind.

but seriously even if you don't want to fuck them, people could tag them on the test drive and give them gen cr so they know people want them around.

if they know there are some people to bang and some people to be friends with, that will make them more interested in apping

again, not in game so this doesn't mean me or my actions affecting the game, but it seems disingenuous to tag someone for gen cr, or flood a char with cr on a tdm and then not ship them in the game. 'but... there was so much interest on the tdm'. i get what you're saying and i agree that we need more female characters of all types/ages/mediums in smut games, but playing with them when you're not actively interested sounds unfair.

or if you want to be honest and talk it out with them that you'd only be interested in gen cr, if all they're getting on the tdm is gen cr potential, again, that sort of defeats joining a smut game. smut games are hard to just walk into alone. gen cr is great and i'm not crapping on that, but you join a smut game to play smut. that'd be my priority if i joined it. i don't see why it'd be different for a female char or why thy should just settle for what they get instead of what they want.

i'm aware that even smut games have more to them than smut, but from what i've heard, it's a smut game. it's designed for shipping/smut. so if you don't plan on actually smutting/shipping with a female character, all the gen cr on the meme or in game isn't going to make up for not being able to enjoy the main draw of the game, which is shipping/smut. obvs, it's not JUST about fucking, but if you join a fuck game and can't fuck, it defeats the purpose.

so you just refuse to tag characters you don't plan to bone.

that's not what i said. i just find it disingenuous for people in a game to go out of their way to tag a female character/characters in a tdm to make them feel more welcome when none of them have any plans to ship with them. so yes, they feel so very welcome and have all the gen cr they could ever want, just like they do in every other game they're in.

do you read? no, really. do you? because the context of that is not to inflate the cr potential that someone might mistake as actual shipping cr since it's a shipping game and join because 'well, golly, so many people were tagging me on the tdm', only to find that all the people tagging them were doing it to seem 'welcoming' and weren't actually interested in shipping.

if you want to ship with someone, great. if you want gen cr with someone, great. but don't try to be more inclusive and welcoming to female characters with some kind of 'let's all tag them, guys' attitude, only to wonder why those same chars are dropping a couple months later after none of their cr is shippable.

no, i'm insisting that shipping/smut cr is the main reason why people join a shipping/smut game over a regular game. they join in the hopes, m or f, to play out shippy/smutty stuff. that's the draw of the game. if you honestly think that someone who joins a shippy/smutty game is going to be content with mountains of regular cr and no shippy/smut cr, then you're sadly mistaken. it'd be like joining a horror game and having it be suddenly all fluff all the time. that's not what i signed up for. gen cr is great and everyone's usually happy to have it, but that's not the only cr someone wants in a smut game. they join to play out smut.

if you were standing by a box with puppies in it with a sign that said 'free puppies' and someone came up and wanted a puppy and you gave them a cat or a tree frog or a tarantula instead... like, hey, that's great. you gave them a pet. they should be satisfied to get anything, right? no, man. they wanted a puppy. that's what they stopped for.

you can say "NO THIS IS WHAT I'M SAYING" all you want, but this is all predicated on the assumption that if people tag female characters on a tdm that they don't want to immediately ship/smut with, that female character will never have the chance for ship/smut cr once in the game. no one in this thread, for that matter, mentioned anything about only offering female characters showing up on a tdm gen cr. the suggestion was just "don't use your desire to fuck them as your only measure for how welcoming you are towards characters in the tdm".

once again, you're beyond help if you can't look at that though process and see how stupid it is.

more cr on a tdm =/= smut cr in game. flinging gen cr at them on a meme isn't the way to go to lure in female characters if that's what you want. maybe try to enable people who want to smut with that character. maybe look around at your in game cr and see who'd be willing to ship with that character. don't throw them a bone and then get all snotty when they want actual meat instead of scraps.

What fs do you players currently in game want? "Not THOSE fs" flies in the face of "bring us more fs, you'll get CR" and leads to disappointment all around so maybe be more specific? Get together a prefs list? I'd love to app in a f but not if she's not the type current players want
