Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.
Rules:
Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme. Your unfunny, forced memes also fall under this rule.
Do not treat this comm like your personal therapist. Threads about nonfictional suicide, self injury, rape, and abuse will be deleted. There are better resources out there for you.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

but seriously even if you don't want to fuck them, people could tag them on the test drive and give them gen cr so they know people want them around." - beggars can't be choosers, so be happy with what you get.
"the game isn't JUST fucking, holy shit." - it's not JUST fucking, but fucking is what people are signing up for.
"so you just refuse to tag characters you don't plan to bone." - implying that they have no intention to bone the char and are happy to tag them (which no one's saying that gen cr is bad. but just gen cr in a smut game is shitty)
"you're still insisting ship/smut cr is the only cr worthwhile. even in a smut game. that's still a stupid thing to say, and it still isn't true." - it's not the only worthwhile cr, but it's what people sign up for. again, no one's saying gen cr is bad.
"i'm going to tag whoever i want for whatever reasons i want. if you don't want my gen cr, fuck off, you ungrateful, entitled baby." - admits it right there.
"in your mind, gen cr = scraps" - again, not contesting they only plan on playing gen.
the arguments are split here and there's two discussions going on. one is that people expect smut cr in a smut game and the other is that gen cr is just as important. no one argued that gen cr in a smut game is bad, but it's not what people sign up for.
please do make female characters feel more welcome, but do it in a way that isn't luring them into the game with promises of things they're not actually going to get. because otherwise it falls into that shitty category of 'well, my bi guy totally sleeps with both genders, but i ftb all m/f scenarios because i don't like playing it out'. okay. that's nice. but when you say you're shipping with x female character, it's unfair for them if they don't get to play out smut in a smut game because their 'ship partner' is allergic to vaginas.

Haven't stepped into this argument in a while but uh. Yeah. Just clarifying there.
