rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

anyone ever buy a subscription to a porn site? worth it? tired of dodgy sites when i want to watch something

anyone who pays for porn in this day and age is an idiot.

tbh i have no clue where to get porn, free or otherwise, that wouldn't involve risking the health of my computer (my virus protection is sadly outdated, as is my computer itself, really). serious question here, anyone got decent recs?

pornhub/xvideo is fine as long as you have adblock and don't try downloading anything. also "malware bytes" is a good free anti-virus program.

avast and avg are both excellent FREE virus programs. get one, anon. if your memory is low, go for avg, as avast uses more resources in my experience.

assuming you're on a legit windows 7/8/10 installation, don't get either of these. the free Microsoft Security Essentials or Windows Defender that comes with the operating system is more than good enough and much, much less of a resource hog.

Or they want to support a studio that produces quality content while treating the actors well

op here but this is also part of it. between viruses, bad sites, and knowing that there are companies that treat their employees right i'd prefer that to just trying to seek things out in unexplored territory

tbh there are a lot of companies that don't treat their actors well either, tho. it does depend on what you're looking for, obviously, but a lot of stuff ripped from pay sites and uploaded to free sites showcase how awful even legit studios can treat the actors.

imo, only worth it if there's something really specific you want. i've only ever paid for sites with those hentai games where you can click various buttons to do things to the character and then you get animated anal at exactly the speed you want or whatever. a really specific thing i could only seem to find behind a paywall (you can find it free now but this was awhile ago).

if it's not that kind of situation, just use youporn/pornhub/xtube/redtube/etc or tumblr

I've had a bunch of different subscriptions over time, and I find it worth it because I like being able to access good quality porn without having to trawl through bad shit for it, and big sites tend to use content tags and ratings systems better than places like pornhub.

If you like hardcore kink at all I think kink.com is worth it because you only pay for individual videos witch credits so you can choose what you buy. If you like amateur, makelovenotporn uses the same model (pay per video) and is an indie company that pays actors what they deserve.

Another tactic is to buy a throwaway account for a porn site that has a lot of content you really like, remove your payment info, and then submit that password to a password site in exchange for access to a lot of other premium passwords. I also advise, if you have your own computer, downloading as much content as you can (given site restrictions and your own storage and bandwidth) and keeping it so you still have stuff to watch well after your access has expired.

Finally, a lot of big sites (I watch mostly gay porn so I'm thinking men dot com and cocky boys) have massive discounts if you click away from payment or cancel your subscription; if you're looking for something ongoing, getting those three months for the price of one deals can save you a lot of money. If you want a lot of content, picking networks often gives you access or discounts on a lot of sites for the price of one (a boynapped subscription gets you about six other sites' content, for instance.)

You can usually sample site content by googling for it on major sites (dailymotion as well as stuff like porntube) and there are also tumblrs that upload paywall vids to google docs or download sites like mega.

I paid for Slipshine because I like comics and I like porn, and I like porny comics, but didn't renew because I didn't go there that often and I wasn't really caught by the stories that were going up. Regardless, I originally purchased to support the site, which has a good idea, and I might again at some point if they get a hot string of art and stories... but most of it wasn't my bag, alas.

that makes sense. i was thinking of trying a subscription for a month too just to see if i use it enough to make it worth it like that
