rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Grr, the site went down for maintenance right as I got a craving to play the sub in all of my dumb, trashy kink ideas for once.

Why do dom players have to be so much harder to find on DWRP?

because there is, or at least was at one point, a surplus of really bad sub players on memes and such, and the dom players all turned into bitter jaded husks from dealing with them

see that one clusterfuck thread full of anons seeing rape everywhere, i'd bet good money a chunk of those anons are dom players/former dom players that had to deal with one bad sub too many

...this actually makes sense. I don't play male doms anymore because I find a lot of subs insufferable. It didn't occur to me it was a widespread thing, though. (I still play female doms, but let's be real, the shitty sub players only want cock.)

If I'm write, That Flynn is one of the TLH crowd. I haven't played there for years, so I don't remember the name, but it looks like he crawled out of a JRPG. Possibly Tales.

pretty sure it has to do with demographic too. the majority of female rpers SEEM to usually prefer bottoming. as one who doesn't, this is just my perception and isn't based on any statistics. i just always see more subs than doms in female-oriented writing spaces.

Man, I completely get that. I've managed to avoid bad subs for the most part but the few bad ones I've encountered were really bad. I can see why it would drive people off.

I guess I just wish the world was balanced by karma and would reward me for playing the dom 95% of the time.
