I'm developing a deep-seated loathing for Azralon. 90% of the time when I have a troublesome or incompetent player in a PuG, they're from fucking Azralon.

They do whatever they please, refuse to cooperate with the group, Need-roll on absolutely everything...ugh. Fuck Azralon.

Didn't think anyone RPed outside of WrA and MG anymore, but then again I stick to those two servers.

I know most people are all "DURR PORNSHIRE", but imo Moon Guard's not that bad if you stay out of Elwynn. The main reason Goldshire's still a hole is because of the off-server trolls that have taken up residence there.

it's been a long time since i played, i must admit. but when i was there, argent dawn was the shithole of rp. kinda like tlh for mmo rp.

It's all the BR realms honestly.

this. tol barad and gallywix are just as bad, if not worse. BR realms haven't improved at all over the years.

i remember a while back having a hunter from gallywix in our group. running around with no pet at level 28, pulling for the tank, and needing on everything they could get their grubby little hands on.

they not only needed on a cloth robe and hat, but equipped both. When asked why, they answered "cause i like robe".

sigh.

i can believe it. i've seen many a br player with unsuitable gear, clothie tanks in particular. these guys insist on taking intellect cloth (and yowling "I NEED!!!!!" if they lose the need-roll to you) and equipping it.

as a healer this makes me sad. one, i need that cloth. two, trying to keep a tank that's wearing cloth up is impossible. three, they lay there and go "ressssssssssss" even if releasing respawns you at the entrance to the dungeon. even if the dungeon's entrance is right there.

there are some that are good, but sad to say, most br players are nightmares to have in a group.

i'm pretty sure i'm still scarred from when the troll dungeons were released in cata. running alts through them was a trial while undergeared, but adding a language barrier + seemingly willful ignorance of mechanics/class abilities and you've got nothing but misery.

i cringe every time i see a br realm tag.

I've never met a random player from Mal'ganis who doesn't vastly (and vocally) overrate their own skill at playing the game.

mal'ganis has been the designated Big Name Assholes hometown since release day. all of the big uber raid guilds formed on it, they attracted all of the wannabe ~hardcore~ players to the server, and as we all know, people that take video games super-seriously are always in their own class of dick.

Kel'thuzad's pretty bad too, and Jubei'thos. Yes, yes, you're doing ~top DPS~ in a level 26-30 dungeon. You're very special, and we all bow to your skill.

i don't get people that flaunt their DPS in low-level content. nobody has their complete skillset yet and it's especially hard if you're a caster, since everything dies before you can pop off more than one or two spells.

special mention goes to the tank that smugly informed me he was doing six times my damage. a.) you're a tank, of course you're doing lots of damage. b.) i have two spells at my disposal and no AoE yet, what do you want from me?

ikr? As long as things are dying in a timely fashion I don't care who's doing the most DPS while leveling. Numbers only really matter for endgame shit.

A tank from Mal'ganis tried to kick me for being the ~wrong~ spec once (I was Arcane, how dare I not be Frost). Three minutes into a Gnomeregan run he goes "Why is this mage Arcane?" in /instance, insulting me and threatening to kick me until I just put him on ignore.

At that level Frost's got...what, Frostbolt, Ice Lance and Frostfire Bolt to work with in terms of DPS? Not really mind-blowing, so I don't know what the big deal was.

I had a guy (human Ret pally, natch) from Sargeras whisper threats to me after my guild kicked him from our dungeon group. He then started rolling alts on my server to continue threatening me every time I blocked him.

Fuck Sargeras.

report that shit, and make sure to specifically say the harassment is ongoing and that they're making alts to get around the ignore function. gms take that shit very seriously.

It was well over a year ago, so I don't have logs anymore. I did hit the report button at the time, but I don't remember anyone getting back to me about it. I'm guessing that the guy eventually got bored after I logged out for a few days, since he didn't continue to whisper me.

Thankfully, Blizz rolled out their whole-account block not too long after that. I still flinch whenever I see people from Sargeras in my LFGs, though.
