Rundown:

rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme. Your unfunny, forced memes also fall under this rule.

firefox is just going out of its way to make itself frustrating these days

and i say this as someone who loves firefox

yes. are you saying these problems don't exist with chrome? i can use it just for icon collecting i guess.

have you ever known someone who seems to not really understand what they're saying when they talk

not like people who are ignorant or stupid, per se, but who just seem to be saying whatever random shit floats into their head as if they're just automatically responding to stimulus without actually trying to say anything

because i think my friend does this and i don't know whether or not it's justified to be frustrated/annoyed at some of the stuff they've said i suspect was just mindless spew

i'm annoyed enough to consider doing that. wouldn't want to subject a friend to that but i suppose i could think of a way or two to make it easier on them.

could be autism. not a joke, as an autist myself we don't tend to have a filter on what we say

this has been my solution for years actually! just thought it would be nice to look around in case i wanted to upgrade my account

the current tone is "everyone is butthurt about the rule change, except for the people that are butthurt over other people being butthurt". i say avoid the game until the mods pull their heads out of their asses and learn to properly compromise.

and by that I mean it looks like the mods just want this to be an SOL in space game.

i haven't had any problems with chrome.

I actually had that problem. Try another browser if you can. I got it to work okay when I swapped to IE but it wouldn't save right in Firefox at all.

you're really going out of your way to justify being a huge asshole. try letting it go and chalk this one up as a loss.

could also be depression. when your brain isn't working right people say all kinds of stupid things.

ongoing problem. i can download fine on my phone, but when on my computer, right click save only yields corrupt files. i use chrome on my phone, firefox on my computer, so it looks like it may be a firefox problem? haven't tried chrome on my comp yet.

Honestly, it's probably Photobucket's fault. Not all web designers test their code in every web browser so sometimes you'll get a site that doesn't work in one browser, but works great in another. Some sites also only work in one particular browser For example, my old workplace's site and VPN only worked in IE, every other browser would fail to establish a connection or load a blank page. That wasn't a fault on Firefox's side, that was a fault of the people who programmed the site.

do you have a smartphone, anon? been having this problem too, but i can save just fine on my phone, so i download there, then plug my phone into my computer and move them over. a lil tedious, but better than printscreening the page and cropping each icon out in photoshop (my other photobucket go around).
