Actually my issue is more with the fact that some of it was copied nearly word for word. I find it downright hilarious though because it explains so much.

That part I don't have an issue with and don't blame them for bringing it up (though I probably would have done it in private or on the screened post). What made me wonder was the part calling out Kylo Ren. The wording is very similar to another comment in this thread, just some slight changes to be more tactful since the exact wording wasn't suitable for saying on a mod post.

one scenario that would lessen the jackassery was if they asked permission from the artist but the artist didn't want to be credited for some reason, and also didn't want anyone without permission to reuse the art either. i could only imagine this happening if the fanart was japanese though

because in various ways they struggle with issues of self-worth and cope with it poorly

if their death was high-profile (e.g. heath ledger) or less than a year ago, i don't use them. manner of death doesn't really matter as much as the public's reaction to it and how famous they were before.

it's not, though, because you're still mentally living there if you care so much about it. the best thing you can do for yourself is accept the fact that you've changed and grown since high school and that maybe they have, too. teenagers are assholes, but it sounds like you're really struggling yourself to grow out of that, so I can see why you might not realize that they might have changed and grown into better people.

if you hated high school so much, move on because you're not there anymore. it's part of being a healthy adult.

That's the thing, all we have is speculation at this point. We don't know if humanity is travelling on a mission of self-preservation or if they just want to find a new planet to live on.

It doesn't really matter how many alien species are going to Andromeda, the icky part is displacing, eliminating or conquering a native race because "we're better/more civilised than you". If the natives are hostile monsters you have to kill so you can inhabit their homeland and take their resources, that's drawing from some really nasty parts of history, the days where colonists were hailed as heroes bringing civilisation to the savage wastes through violence.

I hope the game is self-aware enough of this, and maybe the Paragon options will be along the lines of, "we don't want to do this, but we have men and women who will die of starvation if we don't". Ultimately we need more information about the scenario and why humanity is seeking Andromeda.

i especially loathe this when it happens on public transport or at bus stops, and if i don't hear the person (either genuinely or i pretend i don't) they poke me or shake my shoulder or wave their hand in my field of vision w/e to get my attention

yet somehow i'm the rude one if i don't want to sit and make pointless small talk with a stranger i'm never going to see again (bonus points if they interrupt me to make pointless small talk then ask me for money, or concern troll about how ~i must be so lonely and need more friends~ if i flat out say i'm not in the mood to chitchat)

But what if a player doesn't want your character to join the enforcers for some reason? That locks the player out of participation and movement in a lot of plots. Not every active player in the game wants to be involved in the group, but they do want to be involved in other plots the enforcers are balls deep in.

My taste in canons is fine. You should work on your tact, however.

the point is that they suck, but are learning to do better bc they care about each other.

After a certain amount of dead bodies and different murderers at large even for a short period of time, police are viewed as incompetent and hung in the court of public opinion.

It doesn't matter how well their intentions are or not, they let people die on their watch and they are publicly affiliated with those murderers by virtue of being otherworlders.

A foreign police force would especially have NPCs wary of them after this amount of deaths. Logically the attempts at arrests NPCs have made should very likely have started with the Enforcers because they are the public face of otherworlder incompetence.

From an IC standpoint, they should be limited in involvement after the fact as at least a precaution to ensure proper jobs are being done. Put on leave. Not trusted with vital points in need of defense. They should not be given pats on the back and a job well done.

considering every mod/mod friend has a character in the enforcers i guess we know why death has been banned now

joking aside yeah they deserve just as many consequences as the murderers even if they do get caught later. why would any npc trust them to protect anything after the past few months?

it's not uncommon for stuff to be dismissed with "rpa isn't a way to bring things to the mods' attention!" while the actual complaint is ignored when it's brought forward that way, it's always been like that

sibling incest. either older sister/younger brother or older sister/younger sister. i can play either of the sisters. looking to out the sexual tension/shame and initial series of impulsive bad decisions then the fallout...followed by more bad decisions.
