you're completely ignoring how and why the thread got started in the first place. starting a thread with the unfounded assumption that you will get exactly what you want out of it without directly asking the other person first if they're down for shipping (which a lot of people aren't) IS entitled. the entitlement started at the front end before anything got dropped.

and they're really good, and torchwood just works so damn well with this style of story telling. i've stopped with the regular doctor who monthlies to focus on the newer stuff that's coming out.

I got the Tenth Doctor stuff too and I was really happy with River and The War Doctor stories. :)

i think they could have divided the groups based on time zone (maybe added something to the sign up asking for availability/time zone) because i've seen a lot of delay in plotting from that.

otherwise the event has been pretty fun.

"defensive" has about as much meaning as "trigger" and "flake" these days.

maintain as much of the original nuance and meaning as possible while making it sound like english. as far as foreign terms go transliteration varies depending on the setting

ex: "senpai" does not have an english equivalent that people actually use. if the series is set in japan or a japanese-like country, leave it alone. if the characters aren't speaking japanese, just take it out and try to imply the relationship a different way.
