It's been pretty OC friendly but I think that will change with the next round.

It's boring to me. Unoriginal and hastily done while they tried to make it look planned all along.

if you remove someone as an admin, it does send them a notification to tell them that they've been removed.

ikr? As long as things are dying in a timely fashion I don't care who's doing the most DPS while leveling. Numbers only really matter for endgame shit.

normally, i'd be cool that they're leaving a character behind because, as you said, they do have a track record of coming back. however, my issue is that it feels like capcom needed an excuse to get apollo out of the picture (while relegating him to one-case appearances as fanservice) so they can milk the phoenix cashcow more.

if apollo staying behind in khura'in was an excuse to make him the main protagonist of the series without meddling from the phoenix trilogy cast, then that would be one thing. however, considering capcom's track record i doubt that.

obviously, apollo isn't gone forever. it's just i don't really like the feeling that capcom downgraded him from protagonist to cameo character in favor of keeping the focus on phoenix, who is already overdeveloped.

I do some translation in a group, and we try to keep sentence structure and meaning as close as possible to the original language. If it ends up sounding awkward in English, we tweak it to fit while still preserving meaning and tone.

We try and find equivalent puns and idioms, but if it's a choice between an English pun that just isn't funny/doesn't make sense and leaving it out completely, we'll leave it out every time.

I just finished playing OZMAFIA!! so I only just started this account (and grabbed one for Kyrie too, oops), so I'm super stoked to see you looking at playing Axel somewhere.

He's my favorite. ;u;

The backstory itself bothers me more since it comes out of the blue and feels completely disjointed from what the previous games have told about Apollo.

Him getting his own law office is one thing (though coming right after DD and its "We're all a team!" thing sure is something), but when it's in a completely another country that he suddenly has a super deep connection with it's just too much for me. It feels like it cuts him off from all his connections from the previous games.

I do like the first or close to the first. I don't mind it when people translate puns literally, so long as there's a translators note (assuming I'm genuinely interested in learning the language), but I'm also fine with keeping things close and turning the puns/idioms into something an English speaker would be more familiar with (especially if I don't have any interest in learning the language).

It's a pretty medium-slow paced game, a great game if you want something on the side. How SoL it is really depends on the sort of character you play, and how involved you want them to get. There's plenty of world-plot things characters can get into if they want to explore and get involved with NPCs and gangs in general. Things player characters do in the world really can affect the plot and the world in general.

There's also the ability to get plot information via your extra activity points. So you can really dig up some interesting stuff, if you want to go down that route.

ngl I would probably be more into this if I had someone underground. As someone without anyone underground, it's really dull to just sit there and go 'yep, still sick.'

I get why they're doing it, but that doesn't make it any more enjoyable.
