rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

bigwig and hyzenthlay from watership down. as a wee one i assumed they wound up together and was disappointed when i read the book years later and found out they didn't (tho i guess you could argue book canon!=movie canon yada yada)

huh, i never really thought of that before, probably cuz i didn't know what shipping was at the time, but i definitely was rooting for them too.

and now i wanna reread it, i miss bigwig

...and thinking about it further, i think i also shipped bigwig and hazel, oops......

the entire thing isn't modded by one person, if that's what you mean. people can create individual free servers for voice/text chat, and those have mods. you don't need to be in a server to use it for private messaging, though. a friend and I recently ditched skype for it and it's been great.

i'm really craving one again but idk if the concept is RUINED FOREVER or doomed to never get off the ground or what after the clusterfuck that was digital dive and the failure of terminal

i still like the idea of something based on the original digimon world game where the objective is to restore a central base of operations by exploring the game world and undertaking missions, etc. while uncovering the threads of a larger underlying plot

do you have a preference on role you want to play? any medium pref?

I'm a civil rights lawyer. I like it about 80% of the time, and the other 20% tends to be office culture bullshit that has nothing to do with my actual position. The pay is pretty mediocre compared to how much I owe in student debt, how expensive cost-of-living is here, and how much overtime I pull. I guess the frustrating thing is how much administrative and networking stuff I have to do, when really I just want to talk to clients and do legal research and write up petitions and briefs for them, but that's just non-profit life. Most of my workday today is just emailing people asking them if they want to donate to our fundraiser.

23 and 0. i know it doesn't look great, but i've done a fuckton of unpaid internships and i'm working on my postgrad. my hope is that if i focus on making myself better and increasing my employment opportunities, i'll get a better job in the long run.

I worked on an assemblyline building police sirens and it was a really good job! long hours, but decent pay and no bullshit "customer is always right" policies

the job that I really want, that I've networked my ass for, and that people there have said I'd be perfect for & they really want me....currently isn't available because the governor slashed the budget for this state agency and they're on a hiring freeze. supposedly they'll open up more jobs in july but I really REALLY don't trust our governor and am worried he'll call a special session or something at the end of June just to dick over this state agency again.

I really hope at some point you're able to find something else. I know some departments support continuing education, and even if yours doesn't, you could ask around about the possibility. I know I was fortunate to get out when I did. Right timing and right opportunity. It can happen. I wish you the best.

i just really hadn't given it thought before, i usually don't think about shipping in canons with animal protags, lol

there are tons on Tumblrs that do that now and nearly every artist I see them mock is under 14. It's very poor taste.
