Here's one I could find. Services for male victims of abuse, especially at the hands of a woman, seriously suck. Men are far more likely to be homeless or die as victims of violent crime, but there's so little energy given to preventing both.

i like having background noise while i'm on the computer and they're the best lpers i've found so far. all the other popular ones i've tried have been too obnoxious. plus i've ended up watching lps of games i wouldn't normally be interested in and ended up buying them to play myself based on their videos.

anon, name me one trans headcanon that doesn't vastly miss what it means to be trans and is backed up entirely by gender essentialist bullshit

this stuff is harmful because these people don't stop at projecting these ideas on to fictional characters. they do it to real people.

i understand that a lot of people say "this character = trans because they fall into these gendered stereotypes" but what about people who headcanon characters as trans because they want to? that's how my trans headcanons work, although i don't go insisting my headcanons are canon or push them on other people.

Yeah, that sub is a shithole. For a place where the general air is that they're better than everyone else, you'd kind of expect them to rise above the lowest common denominator a bit, but nope.

f-list is a big waste of time for anything serious, and tumblr anon culture is more insane, invasive and nasty than most wank on wg. i had a friend who was harassed for months, in both her ic and ooc askbox even when she turned anon off, for not adhering to a tumblr-popular headcanon with her character.

Yeah...no, there's more to engaging writing than if you're just IC as a character or not. Being IC as a character is the goal, but I'd argue that you can have a wonderful grasp on a character's voice and motivations and just be shit poor at writing actions with hooks, shoving out hooks, reacting to hooks given to you, and moving a scene forward in general. I can think of one thread in which someone reacted to my hook in the most boring, soul-sucking way, and it wasn't because they didn't have a good grasp of the character's voice. It was because they just ignored all of the interesting possibilities and took the thread in the most boring, obvious direction possible.

OP, identify what makes the character boring besides 'you're boring' and then crit them on that. Are they bad at the character's voice? Do they go light on the description so you tend to get sentences but no real action? Are they bad at reacting to what you thread with them? Are they poor at giving you things to react to?

First of all I'm SUPER EXCITED for this game - I've been keeping an eye on it for a while and this is my first time speaking up. Thank you for making something so involved and so innovative!

I do have a few questions, and forgive me if they've been answered somewhere before and this is repetitive:

1) Will there be a cast cap? Will there be a limit to how many characters from any cast that one individual can play? Will there be a limit to how many characters one individual can play at any given time?

2) Are you going to address R'hllor and the followers of the Lord of Light at all? Specifically, the mechanic in the ASOIAF universe that revives certain individuals from the dead.
