pads, tampons, cups, nothing (freebleeding), something else?

pads and tampons both. i hate pads because they feel like a giant diaper but i need them for overnight.

once used tampons but they were just too uncomfortable, so pads work better for me.

pads. usually the big overnight pads because i bleed like a stuck pig the first couple days.

i used to use tampons and pads. tampons made cramps worse, and pads smelled terrible and would make my crotch burn uncomfortably. there was no winning

I use the cup. I've had a heavier flow since I had a baby and I have to use a backup pad with it now because of the risk of overflow. But I used to be able to use it alone with no problem.

pads. anything inside me makes my cramps worse. i kind of want to try those period panties though just for the environmentally friendly aspect

i used a cup for years before i went on the implant and got rid of my periods entirely

i would SWEAR by the cup for people who are still menstruating though. it was amazing once you got the hang of using it. 100% worth the money. I could never go back to pads or tampons.

Pads, really. Though I swear by those awesome foam pads. Those bastards are really good if you bleed heavily like I do. ~~And I'm a cheap bitch that was sick of going through like five fucking pads a day for the first two or three days.~~

team tampons. i feel like they've helped with my cramps and i don't have to worry about spillover onto my undies like with pads. i hate that i waited until i was an adult to try them.

menstrual cup > pads >>> tampons.

all of them are uncomfortable but my cup is the least uncomfortable unless the stem(?) pokes into my vag. i don't wanna risk cutting it too short though.

pads are okay but i feel like i'm sitting in a gross bloody diaper. i'd rather stick my hand up my vag to insert/dislodge a cup.

tampons, i might just suck at using because i can always feel them and they're always uncomfortable. tss scares me a lot too even though i'm probably fine the way that i used to use them.

I've become a menstrual cup evangelist. Best thing that ever happened to my periods.

pads, since the dawn of time. the thought of shoving anything up there is just way too offputting to me.

I used to use pads exclusively because my mom was anti tampons and I hated them because they were big, bulky, and never held their shape, I always ended up with blood off the pad and into my underwear.

Now?

Tampons, Aunt got me started on them after my mom passed and I've never looked back. Although they can be uncomfortable at times.

Pads but specifically the Always Infinity. even the heavy flow ones hardly feel like they're there and it absorbs a lot.

istg if you use pads, find yourself some coupons for those. I haven't used any other kind of pad since I switched

Switched to the Ruby Cup (gonna specifically recommend those because for every cup bought they donate one to a schoolgirl in Africa so she can stay in school) a few months ago and it's amazingly convenient. I think I have some vaginismus, so I have to finagle it in there, but that's not a cup problem.

The only thing is that it's kind of awkward to use on really light days at like the start and end of my period, so I have some cloth pads for that. Also excellent, although I wish if they had to put ~funky patterns on the damned things they'd use all dark colours, because damn.

pads. I have such a tight vagina I can't even fit my pinkie finger in there without pain, much less an applicator. I'd think it was closed up entirely if it didn't bleed every month.

pads. always the big overnight ones. my period is really short (2 or 3 days) but the price is that i bleed a LOT in a very short period of time. and i mean a LOT. i'd prefer to use tampons but they always leak, even the super ones.

Pads, specifically Always Infinity, like an anon above me. I tried tampons when I was younger, but they always hurt regardless of brand or size. I have considered but likely won't use a cup.
