I think calling it 'malevolence' was a really bad choice since that isn't really what it's about. It's more about purity in the shinto sense.

I'm just treating it like a world specific term rather than assuming from any actual real world meanings. That's helped me a lot with handling it.

The battle system could be a bit better, but I am loving the fact they took from Xillia partner swapping and Graces system and kinda made it there own.

Kinda can't wait to get rid of Alisha and then play her DLC after the end. I have some mixed feelings on her.

She's fun and all but I don't want Otaku and feminist waifu bait in my party anymore.

She and Sorey are kinda weirdly bland for the first three tales character in this game. And i can see why Baba might of ditched her midway through, to help the story out. Unlike Cheria/Milia/Mint/The other waifu characters there really isn't much actual lasting appeal besides having a cool spear.

I was so happy to get rid of her! I normally like moe characters but she was just too vanilla for my tastes and liked hogging skits too much. Seeing Edna tease her was fun though so I'll give her that but outside of that she felt like an inferior Saber.

All said Milla is not the waifu character, that's Jude's role.

i have no concrete opinions yet because i want to play further (i can say that i am enjoying it though), but i am just so happy they brought on go shiina for the soundtrack too.

It's a bad game from a gameplay perspective. Hardcore Tales Of fans will probably love it (as they love any trash this series barfs up) but if you're only a casual fan like me you probably won't be able to look past some of the glaring gameplay flaws.

I'm bent on finishing it but once I complete the story I'm probably going to sell the game back to Gamestop. An RPG with a terrible battle system and camera has no real legs to stand on...

i'm playing alisha in a psl right now and i'm loving it, so i'm hoping to app her to a game in the coming months! i've also got a lailah account that i'm dying to use, though i think i'll need to practice the, uh, pun-damentals of her sense of humor before i think about putting her in any games. i have an account for sorey, too, but i'll probably just stick to memes and psls for him.

I'm trying to keep an open mind on Rose but the way everyone else just keeps heaping praise upon her is starting to really grate.

Everyone is just standing around talking about how amazing Rose is and how lucky they are to have someone so special in the party and "gee it's like we're getting used to her instead of the other way around lol!". And whenever Rose does or says something really sketchy they just laugh it off like, "oh, that's our Rose!"
