rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

and every new tales of character gets when they aren't being the traitor?

If Alisha gets there "at one point" then I don't think I've reached it yet. Lailah has the most overbearing crush on Rose I've seen.

Maybe I've just grown tired of Tales and their traitor characters.

Lailah did the same thing when Alisha became a squire more or less. So did Miibo

A lot of people have, which is why I'm glad rose was a twist on it.

Yeah, but Lailah didn't proceed to complement and fawn over Alisha at every given opportunity. There are entire skits dedicated to the party just talking about how great Rose is.

I mean, I like the idea of Rose. It's cool to have a down-to-earth anti-heroine to balance Sorey's idealism and worldly inexperience. But no-one ever disagrees with or challenges her on anything. It's frustrating.

I think part of the issue was that Alisha and Sorey, the two human characters are boring (still charming but boring) to a certain extent (expect when something cute happens or ruins are happening), at least when compared to the other characters.

Two human characters are bland so Rose was probally developed to balanace them out I think?

But I think by not having her be challenged or told she's wrong or generally NOT being the best person ever, she becomes kind of bland herself. I really like Rose but I do kind of agree with the other anon. Then again I have not beaten the game yet so maybe this part will change.

But generally over all, so far, character development is non-existent in general outside of Sorey so I dunno...
