rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. http://highseasmods.dreamwidth.org/13296.html <- This post does a good job of covering how gameplay is expected to work. Honestly, most of the burden is placed on the players to make their own action, so if you want to get out and DO things, find a likeminded crew and go for it.

Some crews are definitely better than others at utilizing the setting and making their own things to do, so it might be a good idea to take a look at the log comm and see who's doing things and who is just spinning their wheels endlessly on the boat before joining up with one.
