I've seen it done before! It was less of a relationship and more of a... deal? plenty of horribleness and certainly no romance. Anyway, the players made it clear that they knew it was horrible and they enjoyed it for that reason; they used museboxes for the more explicit stuff; it was easy for anyone who wasn't interested to steer clear of and there was never any wank. And of course, the characters had plenty of other stuff going on in the game besides that.
