I've been scouring around for a good game for this gal for a while. This is April Ryan from Funcom's The Longest Journey and Dreamfall: the Longest Journey. I'm looking for:

- Some kind of plot, even minimal. April doesn't do very well in slice of life, not a post Dreamfall April anyhow.
- Easy AC, not requiring network posts is a plus if possible.
- Friendly to obscure characters.

Firefly at Paradisa and Thoughtformed!

I didn't have much luck at the normal ATP, so I'm casting another line here for Firefly players! I play Simon Tam at paradisa and Kaylee Frye at thoughtformed, and I would adore some castmates for both, as they're lone canon warriors (Simon lost his River not long after I apped him, and Kaylee just lost her Jayne).

Anybody for either of them would be great!

thoughtformed is a panfandom game. Your character wakes up on an island called New Moore and is told that they were fictional, but have suddenly become real and must live on New Moore and learn how to be real! How long does that take? ... They'll get back to you on that. Gameplay tends toward slice-of-life, though there are events at least once (usually twice) a month that are a good mix of silly and serious and player plots are welcomed as well. Pacing is typically slow unless there's an event going on, and backtagging is welcome. Activity requirements are: One network post per month, plus an additional requirement- either a second network post, a log, or a comment thread with 10 comments from your character.

paradisa is also a panfandom game, set in a castle and the surrounding town. It provides everything your character needs, but upon being brought there, they permanently lose something (chosen by the player- it can be an ability, an item, a memory, as long as it's something the character values). Gameplay- There's always something to do, both with events and with characters getting up to things on their own that are open to others. Pacing is usually about medium, though when there's an event going on, it can pick up. Activity is two posts a month (either network posts and/or logs), though if you don't meet that requirement, you can make it up with threads.

I'd be happy to answer any questions anyone has about either game!

I play this arrowlad dorkasaurus over at DAMNED, a horror RPG that celebrated its sixth year running this very month. We've also got an Inoue Orihime of unparalleled perfection, so dudes, what are you even waiting for?

okok, so damned's slow to medium paced and all up on the prose. Unlike what you might think from my tl;dr tags, there is no length requirement and it's more than encouraged to keep things to a neat paragraph or less! Likewise, though the application intimidates many, length is not a requirement and you'll find it's overall quite standard.

basiicaaally your character wakes up in a mental institute, told that their life is a delusion. Called by another name, they proceed through the day by moving to different rooms, according to a tight schedule of shifts. In the day they have no powers! Acting out gets you sedated, but you can spam the bulletin board. Cusses are covered with smiley face stickers 8) and if you need help getting a character to another, just godmode a nurse w/e they're pushy. But, at night dundundunnn limited powers lights out take your flashlight and watch out for monsters. To say the least. If that all sounds too restrictive...

They've just introduced a whole damn new city! The mod team is super engaged and helpful, and working on a number of things for the game atm. AC isn't too bad--when it goes up you should have posted once in the last ten days. NBD NBD amirite.

Orihime's mun and I would be absolutely ecstatic for anyone, and we have Plans. If the chance to put your character through mental and physical duress isn't tempting enough, you can also do stupid stuff like, get them accidentally hit in the face with a bat, spill fruit all over themselves, be forced to do lunges with Rock Lee, and fall down the stairs. All of which (except one) happened to Ishida in the last day, because his life is suffering, SO COME SUFFER WITH ME PLZ. You have no idea how happy I'd be to answer any and all questions, and even walk you through stuff.

I prefer plotty places, survival horror is fine, don't really like slice of life. Basically I'd like him somewhere he can be useful, as an awesome archer dude and as a badass normal.

Does anyone want characters from Konjiki no Gash? I'm re-reading the series and thinking I'd like to try a muse from the manga. Right now I'm considering Kiyomaro, Folgore, Tio, Professor Riddles, or maybe even Suzume... the list is long because I love everyone and this is just what I've narrowed it down to. But yeah. Enable me! Castmates would be great but I realize that's a tall order.

Thinking of setting Michael from Nikita(CW) down in a game. Castmates are cool but I know there aren't a lot of us. I'll probably go with a season 1 or mid season 2 canon point.

What I'm looking for is a new or medium(around 150 taken characters) sized game, I might consider larger if it has everything else I want. I'd really like a place my badass normal dude can be badass normal. Places he can put his super spy assassiny skills to work.

-Slow tagging/Backtag friendly.
-Sex games are okay but not what I'm specifically looking for.
-No AU, or memory loss(unless it can be regained somehow.)
