Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for fictional character role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Ignore some of this, I misread. But yeah, if the Enterprise shows up, make it a backdrop but that's it. Enterprise wank is kinda a thing in Star Trek RP.

that's...unfortunate and kind of hilarious, what.

there won't be any permanent assignments to ships, fortunately! ship assignments would be temporary for the duration of an in-game mission, like a month or so. characters would essentially be lending themselves and their skills to a specific department, based on the mission parameters.

Starbase 80 is also way heckin out there and there's a lot of ships just in the fleet alone, so the idea is to give players different chances for their character(s) to touch the brass ring, as it were.

main character syndrome. since the enterprise is the ship of the series, everyone who wants to rp a big bad hero wants a post in it.

that'll be something to head off and/or redirect in advance then, for sure. Trek has never been a one-mc show, so a game shouldn't feel that way, either.
