This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. if someone ghosts my tag I don't want to tag them again since they obviously have no interest in the character

this isn't true though. there are a hundred different reasons why someone might ghost a tag if they get sick, are busy at work, lose internet access..

Well, that's true, and if that's the case I don't mind them tagging me back when they have time to hit up the thread or reaching out when they're in a better space healthwise, but I never know if I should bother trying to tag back someone who's ignored my tags because I've always assumed it was a "nah, not interested". Which is of course fine, but I don't want to pester someone.

I probably -shouldn't- assume immediately that it's 'Oh you don't want to play with that character' but it's hard to get out of that mindset sometimes.

this is true. i have a list of people not to tag but it's people who very obviously don't want to write with me. like if they ignore my tag-in on tfln while tagging everyone else.

dropped threads don't bother me. if i have a starter completely ignored i probably won't write a detailed starter for the same character again but i'll tag them on low-effort memes and see what happens.
