bit of an odd request, but i'm interested in potentially commissioning someone who might be able to grab some screencaps of jingliu from honkai: star rail... without her blindfold on.

i'm not actually canon familiar, so i'm only somewhat sure that this is possible to do within the game either via bugs or a feature? BUT if it's something that could be done, please hit me up <3

not sure if this has been patched already but this is a bug rather than a feature. it also won't affect the story or cutscenes, so you won't have a lot of variety in terms of expressions.

if that's fine with you, i can try my hand at it and see if the bug's still there.

Hey howdy, folks! So the December point sale is going, and to encourage people to take advantage of that, I'm offering up headshot sketches for Dreamwidth points! I usually do this in December and these are heavily discounted from my usual sketches, so you save money with the holiday bonus, I get to stockpile points for the future, and we all support our RP home. Everybody wins, we love it here, etc.

It's 60 points per sketch, and I'll draw whatever: people, robots, aliens, handsome lizard men from video games - it's all good! In the interest of expediency, I will require some kind of a visual reference (Picrews work just fine; absolutely no generative AI work, please). Here is my usual commission post for what my art generally looks like.

Now the fun part: in the spirit of giving for the holidays, I'm offering up a freebie slot, and a couple of friends of mine sponsored two more, telling me to pass them onto others. That's three freebie slots! We'd particularly like these slots to go to OCs (malleable protags count - I love Tavs in particular). We know how hard it can be to get character art when you're broke.

hello rpanons! i am wondering if anyone out there in rp land would be interested in commissioning non-people/non-face icons. i was a very prolific and popular stock icon maker back in the lj days and still have access to the software and many many image repository licenses.

what i do not have is any spare cash to get paid accounts for rp right now, and due to prosopagnosia i am unable to do icons that include faces. i realize this post has no examples but was just wondering if anyone would even pay a few points for stock work in the first place. i had been certain it was a no but a friend encouraged me to come to this post and toss up the interest check, so: let me know if there's any sense in putting this together!

I hope this is the right thread to ask: I'm in the market for an art commission of my character, but not sure which artist to ask. The number of artists on my Plurk timeline seems to have decreased drastically as 2024 went on (did they retire? Where did they go?) leaving me at a loss.

I'm looking for an artist who does human characters, not too photo-realistic in the face. A little bit of flourishing, colorful style would be great. The character has very light non-human traits but nothing too complicated. Full body, color. Let's go full optimism here, and say pricing and creation speed isn't a factor, just to widen the options.

Who would you recommend?

storietellers is still offering commissions! their work is a lot of human characters, from anime to realism, though they also did a mutual's fox oc beautifully. "flourishing, colourful style" would fit the bill, especially with their current pieces.
