Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

when do you give up and accept a game isn’t for you? I’ve been in one for three months and I’m just not feeling it. it’s way too slow paced for me and my character just isn’t a good fit.

have you gone through an event in game? done what you can to get involved?

if the above answers are 'yes' and you're still not feeling it, it's about time to bite the bullet. 3 months is a pretty good amount of time to figure out if the game is a good fit or not.

three months is what i always give myself because that way you've had a chance to tag around and usually experience a couple of events. sometimes there will be an event that just doesn't click with you, but if it's been a few events and i'm still not feeling it, to me that's a pretty good sign that the game isn't for me.
