Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Yeah, I know the character name screams of sparklepoo, but Emily really is a good character and I'd like to play her somewhere. Bonus points for built in canon updates from book to book to book!

Thank you! They're such interesting reads and they seem closer to what Montgomery herself wished to see herself as which leads into all kinds of discussions about authorial intent, death of the author, this set of standards versus the other set of standards, and the fact that Montgomery was able to bring the character and series to a satisfying end for her and didn't feel like she had to keep cranking out sequels to appease fandom of the time!

No ideas for usernames, but LM Montgomery basically was my early teen fixation, and this one in particular. Hope to see you around, say, Bakerstreet! All I've got at the moment is a megalomanic mad scientist who'd found out he was someone else's science project, and an absent-minded, part fae quantum physicist from the 1920s.

Mine too! And my adult fixation, LOL, I have every published volume of her diary and a book about feminist and queer interpretations of her work.

Your characters sound interesting! I hope to get to play with them!
