The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. i have some icons where i asked the artist for permission to use their art for rp icons and they said that was fine. i have 'do not take' on those because the artist gave ME permission to use the art for icons, they didn't give permission for everyone and their brother to take the icons and use them.

like, it could be! or it could be something they commissioned. or it could be that they specifically asked the artist for individual permission to use their art for icons. who knows.

but dns/dnt just means don't take the icons, nothing more, nothing less.

kind of but it's just how it works on the internet. dwrp steals art all the time to use as concepts and locations in games or visuals. people just go on pinterest and grab things and assume they don't need to check if the original artist is ok with it or even give credit.
