you might be thinking of that weird password glitch thing that happened where most users had to use some other format of passwords. the site did put out a shit load of messages in 2020 during the breach itself, but there was no locked accounts. just some weird new password thing and i remember having to get some kind of garbled thing to load in on a weird page. but that only lasted a day or a week or something.

there've been many code pushes that have screwed up lj juggler, but there was only one time where we had to go to an alternate area to get a manufactured password to add to something. might have been juggler? it was awhile ago and i'm so old and tired.
