Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

i get your feelings here. i've definitely been in that position where i liked character A a lot more, but character B was a lot more popular (usually for being an attractive, toppy dude while A was less so) and anytime I wanted A stuff I'd basically be met with "I'd love to do stuff with B!" or "are you gonna post B as well?" or whatever. anything about "i really want to play A right now" just led to false promises and ghosting, like you note.

i don't really have a solution for this, but it always ends up burning me out on B completely. i'd rather be in a quiet corner where i get to play fun stuff than be popular and miserable.

Thanks for sharing this, anon. It's close enough to my situation that I feel a little less alone, even without a clear solution. I hope we can both find places to find our A characters with people who have as much fun with them as we do. :)
