Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Yeah, we're snobs. This entire community is an isolated island that doesn't want to engage with the rest of the internet. We're the weird hermits that make people jump through twelve hoops before we consent to interacting with them.

I am actually canonblind to the majority of canons out there, including things considered very popular and mainstream. I will tag anyone that looks interesting.

I made an attempt to get into popular Disney stuff recently because I thought I was being too close minded. I watched Encanto and Turning Red. I thought they were cute but I would not watch them more than the one viewing. In the past, I enjoyed Disney movies that had a clear villain or someone went on an adventure. Stories where the outcome is "my family reconciled and all our issues went away now" completely miss me and I'm not interested. It's not something I am capable of relating to and tends to make me depressed. For other people, this is feel good entertainment and I am happy for you! But it isn't for me. This also extends to a lot of children's media made more recently.
