Back when Heroes was airing for the first time, I RPed Mohinder Suresh throughout the entire run of the show and had a blast with him for years. Reading over old threads again, I keep having this intense desire to pick him back up, although I'd have to do a major canon review. (15 years. It has been 15 YEARS.)

I think he'd do well as a LCW, since I've only seen a couple people still playing from the canon, but for the sake of potential castmates, do you think watching Heroes Reborn would be necessary? (I'm familiar with spoilers from it, so that's not a worry, but haven't actually watched it.) I think I'd prefer to just take Mohinder from an early enough canonpoint to avoid it, at least for now, but it seems like others are playing more from supplemental/sequel stuff beyond the original series.

Would there be much interest in him? He was just such a fun character to play, even if doing crosscanon stuff with him would be pretty new for me. I'd love to give him another shot.

So, I genuinely do not think watching Reborn is necessary. Obviously you know that Mohinder is in it, but his role is minor enough that I'd say you're fine to skim a wiki article. If you absolutely feel like you have to (though I don't think you will if you take him from an early canon point), I'd say just watch "June 13th". It's a two parter, and it should give you all the appropriate info you're really gonna need.

Anyway I'm biased but I'd love to see more Heroes chars cropping back up again so pls do go for it

Isaac! <3 I'm so glad to see another Heroes character around, and I appreciate the encouragement a lot. (All the more so now, since I was...committed enough to the idea to make Mohinder a new journal.)

This is really good to know, and kind of a relief. I might end up watching that episode once I'm done the rest of the canon review just to have that sense of what's going on, but yeah, I was thinking of even taking Mohinder from a season 3 canonpoint because he had more interesting emotional stuff going on then than in the last season. We'll see!
