i was here like 8 years ago and it was the worst game experience i ever had, everyone was only interested in tagging me if it could further their already-existing cr drama

though again this was 8 yrs ago so take it with a grain of salt

Iirc it got a lot better after murder left. It's kind of an under the radar game despite the activity but chatter is usually positive these days as opposed to back then.

my experience was so bad i nearly quit rp. there was no one incident i could point to, everything was just horrible down to brass tacks. it looks exactly the same now in terms of gameplay, but the mods are different. maybe that helps but i don't think you could pay me to go back.

this seems to be so common but no one really explains what that is other than “older players.” what is it about Tlv that doesn’t work?

the premise is pretty cool, but at the same time, if you get stuck in a pairing that turns out to be difficult for ooc reasons (like the player is crazy), it makes everything impossible. with the way the game is set up, trying to switch up inmate/warden pairings automatically makes it look like you're trying to get out of ic consequences, and people treat you like that's what you're doing. which is not fun. maybe the playerbase is less stonewally about it nowadays?
