Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. 100%, and that's speaking as one of those people that are hesitant to reach out. i don't know how to explain it other than i get this sense in noct that if you don't already know the player and they haven't reached out/tagged in to you already there's not much point in hitting them up. it's very strange since i've never had this issue with striking stuff up with strangers in any other game, so idk what it is about here that's prompting it in me.

I haven't had any issues reaching out to strangers and getting cr but it's a big ass game so it's possible we're not even thinking of the same strangers.

it's very possible and even probable, haha. if it wouldn't cause trouble for the layers i'd ask you who you've had good luck with since i've honestly been struggling a lot lately.

i think in a game this big, a lot of people are just very often full up on cr commitments with a circle of friends they already know. that or they're flakey and drop all of their threads anyway. i've had way more luck tagging cr of cr who i already know are good and reliable, rather than tagging strangers. but ofc it's different for everyone. i feel like i gave up on cr memes a while ago and just tag into stuff that's open if i want cr.

i'm a relatively new person and i have no friend group and i would love more people to reach out to me, but no one ever does. i do reach out myself so i have some cr building, but this assumption keeps some of us from getting the cr attempt we crave!
