Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

i don't think it's unavoidable to hurt them if they're as attached as you say they are. but you should unfriend them. it's your plurk timeline, you shouldn't have to feel awkward using plurk just because of one person.

if they come to your DMs tell them that they were a great rp partner but you've outgrown the psl. if they ask why you're not letting them into your plurk, tell them you're not adding other people to your already curated timeline. don't let it turn into a conversation.

i've been in this position before and the key to it is just being firm and standing by your boundaries. that being said, be prepared for them retaliating, if ever. i once removed someone i thought merited being removed for same reasons as you described; nowadays they spend the rest of their rp lives badmouthing me and my friends. i just shrug and mark their journals so i never interact with them ever.
