rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. is there such a thing? I have replace text set up with shortcuts for action spam html etc but it's not as streamlined as I'd like

assuming you're talking about mobile devices, nope. there's no app and no way to add anything like that to mobile browsers.

I'm pretty sure there's an old statement from Denise somewhere that says a DW app is highly unlikely to ever happen because (among several reasons) they'd have to get rid of all the porn to get on the app store. Dreamwidth isn't big like twitter and can't get away with it.

thank you for the responses!! I’d thought as much, but figured I’d check here before giving up. Follow up question: how the heck do you code network/tfln comments on an ipad? I’ve been futzing around with the code (both /span and /font) for a while and the best I’ve gotten to actually show up is courier. courier new throws a markup error

it's so weird, I use that exact code with courier new on my iphone with no issues. When I use it on my ipad it throws an error. For reasons I don't understand courier posts as times new roman or something similar.

check that your ipad isn't using smartquotes. smartquotes screw up every code. 80% of the mess ups i see in code or c/p forms being mucked up that people can't figure out is caused by smartquotes. i hate smartquotes. (lots of people don't realize that some of the places they write out tags or code and c/p it over to dw on use them. you can notice it when people write out it's/i'm/you're and the apostrophe is 'wrong'.

thank you for taking the time! I should clarify, this is the code I use on my iphone and pc. I've triple checked it and it still throws an error when I try to comment with my ipad. It's very strange.
