Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

+1 all of this. "ironwood is morally grey" is a plot beat that was set up from his very first appearance. he always hoarded power for the greater good and was always presented as a character who overreacts to threats to both his safety and his authority as a fundamental aspect of his personality. throw in his obvious PTSD after Beacon, and... well.

to other anon, sorry i don't have any vids or essays to link. i don't engage with that stuff because i find most of them espouse deliberately controversial takes for views and they tend to put them out very quickly after a divisive season or episode airs, before those slowburn beats actually come to fruition over many seasons. in the long run they are actually not very good analyses of the writing, imo.

(which i agree IS flawed in many ways, just to reiterate.)
