anons how do you know when it's time to cut ties with someone you're close to

right now i'm at "when we have fun together we have a hell of a lot of fun but those instances are outweighed by the grief and anxiety they cause me". like, i will miss this person a hell of a lot but i will not miss their drama and i'm not sure if that's a good enough reason to walk away

does anyone else keep a private blacklist of people you tell yourself you'll never tag again? what does a player have to do to get on that blacklist? if someone who is blacklisted tags you, will you tag them back out of politeness? i'm curious.

my personal blacklist is just a reminder not to tag certain people if i see them on memes, and it's my way of reminding myself that these people will drop the thread with me in one or two replies, so i might as well not bother. however, if they tag me, i'll respond, and if they don't flake on me too early/quickly that time, i'll remove them from the list.

Responded to two people looking for PSLs this month and in both cases we swapped PMs for a while discussing what we wanted and it seemed like we were both trading ideas back and forth equally, on the same wavelength, and getting quite excited for the PSL... only to be suddenly ghosted both times.

Had something I thought was good happen only for it to turn out to be horrible 20 minutes later. On top of not getting any tags for the last 4 days, I have to say, I'm feeling pretty down and out. anons who've taken advanced placement (AP) classes, would you recommend buying cheap used AP guides for general self-study?

I'm a mod. Someone's apped to my game, but they've blocked me on Plurk because I got into a tiff with one of their friends. Plurk's pretty important for game communication here, both for plotting and game communication.

Do I accept them knowing that I won't be able to see their comments and vice versa? Do I refuse to accept their app for blocking a mod? What's the best course of action here?

alright, realtalk: what do you all consider to be a fast, medium, or slow tagger? is consistency better than speed (so they'll always tag once a day vs you'll get seven tags in three hours and then they disappear)? How long does a thread have to go before you'll drop it, even if the person you're tagging with is consistently replying?

i'm wondering because I tend to be what I would consider to be the "slower" side (i hit everything in my inbox about every 2-3 days when I'm doing well just because of tag volume). is this too slow for a lot of people? I tend to be the faster one around my casts but now I'm wondering...

so like. I wanna app to a game, see a person that we've had a history, have no interest in communicating with eachother, and they did have me prebanned from a game with shitty mods before and we've since agreed through a mutual party to just treat eachother like we don't exist

What are some steps I can do in case they suddenly decide they don't want to hold up their end? The game I'm interested in doesn't have anything else like it on the market atm and I just want to play there, don't want to deal with this person to the point that if I do get in I need to tell the mods for team up events we can not interact.
