i'm a meme poster, and i've noticed there are a few qualities that get a meme lots of hits:

1. make it really easy to jump right in. texting memes in general, word association, picture prompts, they all start off simply, so people don't feel like they need to put in a large amount of effort for possibly very little return.

2. don't make it too niche, and don't make it too similar to something already posted recently. there's no need for like, a japanese rope bondage meme when there's a general catch-all bondage meme that just went up, for instance.

3. no more shipping memes. there are dozens upon dozens of them, several go up every day, and the vast majority are lucky to see 20 responses, all top levels. if you're going to make a meme that's about nothing but shipping, it had better stand out if you want anyone to care about it. this goes doubly so for marriage memes and having a baby memes, just... stop.

4. if a meme flops, let it go. don't repost it every week and watch the number dribble down. i've made probably 20 original memes, 2 get semi-frequent reposts, 1 is a weekly thing now. it's okay to fail as long as you stop trying to force it after it's already dead.

Okay, so this new season's thing about there being multiple realms/universes (and that 30-second tease we got of Pan in the Wish!verse) gave me a couple interesting smut ideas of the two pairings.

Curious to try a few things out for the "Wish" Realm version of Felix, who'd obviously be alive. My idea is that in the Wish world, Rumple invaded Neverland, killed off a bunch of Lost Boys in epic battle, and took Pan back to his land (where we see him locked in a pillory in the Dark One's castle, in that recent ep). Felix was miraculously unscathed and made plans to rescue Pan, somehow found a way to travel to other realms ("fandoms"), got some snazzy tech, snagged a few Norse golden apples, and rescues Peter Pan. They celebrate with a night of wild, hot sex.

Second idea, similar to the first involving Wish!Felix (probably taking place during Felix's travels from above idea), and meeting that universe's version of Henry Mills (Jared!face), 18-year-old Prince Henry. Felix maybe runs into him during an adventure, maybe after Henry's 3rd or 4th "princess rescue" still doesn't get him out of the friendzone, wtf. Enter Felix, who offers to show him an alternative to the usual prince/princess type coupling. Or better, Felix makes a game and "kidnaps" Henry, and soon ends up with the two in a bed somewhere (and thus relieves the poor prince of all that pent-up frustration lol).

honestly, i wish there were more "post wtf you're looking for" memes while also wishing more people posted to them. i've gotten really cool cross-canon threads with characters i don't know dick about and want a billion more of those.

i'm dying to know who the character was, haha, because i have one character where i feel the same way. he's supposedly a twin to another character and she has PINK hair and he should've had PINK hair but the manga-ka wussed out and gave him WHITE hair and to this day i'm disappointed.

All Recipes, which is my fav site for looking recipes up by ingredient. Also Chef John on YouTube makes the recipes he gets there, really nice instructional videos, and he gives some good tips.
