Yeah, I was canon-familiar and I remember being just sort of horrified that someone could miss the mark that badly on that character. We're not talking about something subtle, we're talking 'This character felt guilty for not being able to protect [Other Character] when they were younger, so they vowed to become stronger so that it would never happen again.' They always carry a memento of the other character with them to remind them of what they're fighting for, for crying out loud. How can you not even mention this character in the personality section? I just don't get it.

how come you can't go look at it after you've already taken it? it just tells you you've taken it and you can't see what new answers have been filled.

How do you define the difference? I just figured an AU is an AU, and most games don't allow more than one alternate version of a character anyway, so I just lumped all possible AUs together, besides CRAUs cuz those are super specific and a bit of a hot button apparently.

And no, it seems like only the quiz creator can see the written responses. Once I get enough answers I'll post some of the results so y'all can judge each other accordingly.

Idk man, I didn't build surveymonkey. I didn't want the same jackass to take the quiz like ten times and skew the results, so I set it to where once you take it you can't take it a second time, but I thought it said you could see the results. Apparently we have been lied to.

i explained it in my "other" answer, jsyk! when we say "canon AUs" we meant a game that admits both comic!Batman and movie!Batman, and you're mistaken, most games do allow it if they are different enough. a fanon AU is something the player has come up with 100% like idk a version of HP where james and lilly never died or genderbenders.

Oh! My bad, I haven't read them all yet, I was waiting til I had a bunch so I didn't have to keep refreshing it. I think I can edit the options, but I'm not sure if it'll like. Delete the answers I've already gotten... I'll see if I can add tho. Thank you for the insight!

I see. Sorry about that! I'll be sharing the results once I get a good number of replies, so you'll still get to see stuff, but yeah that's misleading, I thought y'all would get to see stuff updated as it was answered. Bummer.

I was able to change the wording on the existing option to "fanmade" AUs, and I added Canon AUs as a new option. So the results might be a little skewed since that option was added later, but there's only about 20 responses right now, so it shouldn't make a huge difference if the sample size gets beyond 100 or so.
