don't know if i'm pleased or disturbed by the wankception in this month's post.

From a field so leftward it's actually left our physical realm comes barrelling my new silly OTP. If you can fathom this ship at all, lemme interest you further. Cute dumb aliens doing cute dumb alien things. Fish out of water scenarios. Fluffy couple shit turned weird because, well, they're extra in every sense. Angst because...reasons. Smut, kinky or fluffy or ridiculous. I just want Mantis/Thor because I know canon will never deliver.

I agree, and there's a valid reason for it, too - all the weird things that people have mentioned as squicks or triggers aside, if a person would "need" to avoid certain themes that are baked into the plot or something along those lines, then yeah, they wouldn't be a good fit for the game.

I feel like that should be clearly stated somewhere, though, just so that no one has to deal with anyone sitting there thinking "what??? What did I do wrong??? This is so unfair".

is it too early to ask who people want to see here? or who you're apping.

do you guys remember when RPA had character advice threads? sometimes i miss them, both for the very occasional humor and for the legitimate camaraderie between fellow anons just enjoying the same canon/character

Like it's the kinks you want to play thread but a whole comm. Seems good to me.

A female professional game streamer either gets blackmailed by an obsessed fan or strongarmed by her abusive (verbally, physically, sexually, all three, whatever) partner into making her stream sexier and sexier. Starts with just her wearing sexier clothes, then bending over on stream/flashing her boobs, then eventually just straight up making amateur porn and selling live cam sessions.

I can play either side of this. Fine with most kinks, live action or drawn PBs. I'll probably just be making an OC for this. Shoot me a pm!

it's also usually a lot easier to keep characters corralled in the same spot in between docking events versus doing something like a flying island in an otherwise normal sky.

there's not a ton of characters who can fly through space with their own power without dying. and building a spaceship from scratch is a lot harder than building a plane of some kind. if the only thing being on a sky island adds is that the infinite void around you is blue instead of black then why bother with the added headache of people trying to escape the island? even if you shoot them down all the time it's still a headache.

A few ideas revolving around men either medicated, trained or kept for breeding purposes and either an employee or someone trying to help them getting overpowered and stuck with one.

It could just be an experimental fertility drug with one of the girls meant to monitor it's effects getting stuck with him until he fully relieves the symptoms. A world where a virus killed off most men so the survivors are kept in breeding clinics and just an employee or someone trying to free them gets overpowered by one over night. Another servant, type of slave, visitor or someone trying to save the slaves accidentally gets stuck with a breeding slave who uses her again and again.

Looking to play the guy in this one. M/F. Modern, futuristic-scifi or fantasy settings are fine. Open to live action or drawn.

i'm torn. on the one hand, i'm really happy to see new games being made. on the other hand, i'm sort of bummed that none of them fall into any category i want to play in. i'm starving for a new game, but it's all some version of horror and/or space or /political/. i miss fun games. i miss you, fun games.

the kicker is that i actually like horror games, i'm just totally burned out on them at this point. i don't even want to think about playing in another horror game for probably at least a year now.

+1, the "triggers" thing is literally written in the app as "This is for stuff you cannot handle at all, not stuff that you can soldier through after an initial cringe" (paraphrasing).

on the other hand, rejecting for not having a content warning on the app is ridiculous, just tell them to put a content warning on it in the future

on the third hand, that really is a shitty oc

and on the fourth hand, deerington is a shitty game that deserves shitty players
