looks like the test drive is starting to pick up, which is nice! i think the mystery cyberpunk setting could go cool places too - anyone looking here or having fun on the tdm so far?

I know this is going to get some "take it to wankgate" response but because I really believe it warrants visibility so people know what they're looking at, this game is a danzy run project. What that means is that it will only get so far, tdm, maybe apps, but it will quickly stall and die.

yeah, all you sound like is a wet blanket. she's not the only mod. give it a rest. if people are having fun, let them. dwrp could use some after the drama of the last few days.

"People are having fun, let them" yeah and then they get invested, put time into it, and wind up disappointed when they're flaked out on. Only difference here is that it's a mod, not another player. That's all I'm doing, warning people so that they know what they're getting into.

I think she was the one we came closest to confirming, but there were never any concrete deets provided. CDC was very much designed in her colors, though, with the fancy layout + pretentious visual design + grimdark narrative themes going on.

Even if she did mod CDC, all of these game concepts she's tried out since have been the same style over substance. Great premise, usually borrowed from some popular media at the time, fancy coding and layouts, but the bones underneath are more eudio sol sandbox than CDC's crazy high pressure plots. This one will probably fizzle out the same as the last few have, not explode in a wankstorm like CDC did.

danzy is as close to confirmed as can be, it's circumstantial evidence but pretty damning. go upthread at the link for more deets, but basically whoever wrote the infamous google doc used a lot of legalese, especially used legal lingo danzy was fond of, all while danzy was playing a lawyer character, including the legal lingo danzy's lawyer character journal was named after. even if this doesn't convince you, it's just relevant to remind everyone about the google doc, because i don't know about you but if there's even the remotest chance i'd be in a game modded by the people who wrote that, i'd get the hell out of dodge.

the veil of anonymity gives the cdc mods plausible deniability, but i'd stay the hell away if there's even a chance of being near them again. danzy wasn't the only mod at cdc either.

The hard part is everyone knows but no one can share details without outing themselves. So I can tell you what I know, but I can't back it up with anything. Danzy and her crew covered their asses extremely well.

Anyway Danzy was Dagger, I heard the same about King and Marzi being Warriorhead and Armada. Whoever played the Tiger and Bunny characters (Bird and... someone, it's been years) were also mods.

that makes sense. i know of some wank involving the t&b characters but, like you said, i can't say much without outing myself. the sheer level of insiduous behavior that happened behind closed doors at this game constantly astounds me, even now.

who are King and Marzi? I don't recognize the names from anywhere
