i've been in mom roughly since the plot switched from the russia stuff to heaven scent and oto and stuff like that

i preferred the meta as it was before. the setting was better but i get why it changed. mom just feels weaker with the metaplot than it did before. to a new player this might not be less of a problem though but the reason i joined was for the old cold war stuff so now its ???

i will also say i don't have ooc probs. ive found people to be welcoming and theres less a medium divide than a canon divide. i was around when 90% the network page was jedi drama and ignoring that black hole was ugh the worst. theres complaints about an unwelcoming atmosphere for new players but ive branched into new cr and plenty of them have flaked on stuff. when i joined i approached people and talked to them about things, added them on plurk and got involved in plotting. lately ive arranged stuff with new players and logged it to have them flake and never tag in so yeah no thanks
