I've only been in El Nysa of the above. It was a friendly enough game, though I didn't quite fit in with the ooc culture such as there is one, but my biggest problem by far was everyone dropping my threads before we could get anywhere. Maybe my RPing wasn't up to people's standards, which, fair enough, or maybe I was too slow for them, also fair enough (I'm a once every day/two days if I'm busy tagger). But I've been in plenty of games and never had this issue before. No one would backtag, even if we were literally in the middle of a scene and neither of us were holding the thread up by being slow, and neither would they reach out to me to handwave an ending. The thread would just disappear from my inbox when it got too "old" (like 2 weeks) and I'd never know who won that drinking contest or whether the characters had sex or even exchanged names, etc. It got extremely tiring after a while, even though I'm not a fan of "backtag for four months" culture either. I'm used to losing some of my threads that way in every game, but in this game, it got to be basically every single thread I'd start, which made it hard to want to tag out.

I also had an issue with group quest events where people will sign up in a group with you and then not bother actually threading out the quest, because they still get credit/the reward for doing it if you thread it out. So two group members thread out an AC-length thing for this quest and then three more group members get credit for having completed it despite not contributing. I'm still a little raw about that.

I can't speak much to plot/SOL because I dropped in the middle of some intense plot where SOL was impossible to accomplish unless you were willfully ignoring the setting, and I have no idea if it's bounced back to being less intense since then. I imagine it must have somewhat. I can't say much about cliques or medium divide either since everyone dropped my threads equally, lol. There was a good balance of character/canon types there, though.
