a friend of mine who i keep on trying to thread with keeps on consistently dropping my threads while seemingly keeping up pace everywhere else, but if i try to talk about it with them, i know ill be misinterpreted and end up either starting a fight or hurting their feelings accidentally

its stupid and it happens to everyone but im still bummed. they drop my threads a few comments in constantly and i just wish i knew if it was something i was doing or what

are you tagging with a character they don't play except with you? could be that they're losing the voice for them/those threads don't come easily

the character it happens with most often is one that as far as i know they play with others as well but its also been happening when i try to thread with their main too. theyll gush about the thread/playing for a couple of quick tags and then it just putters out

i know its probably not just me and that im being irrational but it happens so consistently that i cant help but think that way at least a little, and it makes me want to just come out and ask if theres anything i could do differently/better

Basically, it's okay for your friend to hurt your feelings by constantly dropping your threads while seemingly keeping up pace everywhere else without explaining why.

But it's not okay for you to hurt your friend's feelings by asking for clarification/an explanation/things you can do better for them, because by asking for clarification/an explanation/things you can do better for them your friend will misinterpret you and will either start a fight or have their feelings hurt.
