Anyone else prefer no icons for OCs? I spent a long time in forum RP before I found dwrp, but I feel like I have such a specific idea of what my character looks like that it's hard to find a face, and in general, I prefer to describe him/her. I generally prefer iconless partners as well because that as well leaves a little bit up to the imagination as well.

I also really hate the process of finding/sourcing icons, so maybe I would feel differently if I found that kind of thing fun.

I feel the same way! It's 90% of the reason why I don't play my OCs here. I've just always found the process of choosing a face for my characters really awkward.

... And then when you do find a good one, they often don't make the kind of facial expressions you envisioned anyway.
